I'm Benjamin Hollon, and I do a lot.
I write, code, compose music, play trombone, and more. In school, I'm a Freshman Communications BA and the loudest and the proudest member of the fightin' Texas Aggies Class of 2026!
From left to right, top to bottom:
- A solo in a Jazz Band Christmas concert, playing "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square"
- A picture of the moon I took using my Powerseeker 80EQ telescope and smartphone on January 14, 2022.
- Throwing my notes as an illustration of space debris during a TED-Ed talk at my High School titled "The Pollution to Our Problems"
- Playing the trombone as part of "The Quiet Harbor" quintet; the piece is my own composition and titled "In Succession"
Some other projects that I don't have good footage of:
- I participated in my school's drama program for all of High School, leading the drama club for my Junior and Senior years. As our final production of my Senior year, I wrote and directed a thirty-minute play, "City of Villains."
- I was the layout editor for a total of four issues from two different literary magazines during High School, also contributing pieces to each magazine. The issues from one of those magazines are available online.
